2. Website access and server logs

When you access the website, the web server processes technically necessary connection data. This may include an anonymised IP address, the date and time of access, the requested address, the amount of data transferred, the referrer, browser, operating system and HTTP status.

This processing is carried out to provide the website securely and reliably, detect attacks and investigate technical errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and trouble-free operation of the website.

The website is hosted on webspace provided by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. united-domains uses IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, as a subcontractor. According to the hosting provider, the data is stored on servers in Germany and access logs are retained for eight weeks for security and stability purposes.

3. Contact and contact form

If you contact us via the contact form, email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. The form may transmit your name, company, email address, telephone number, subject and message.

If the enquiry concerns a potential or existing contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to process your enquiry and conduct business communications.

Enquiries are generally deleted no later than twelve months after they have been finally processed, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds require longer storage. Documents relevant to contracts and accounting are retained in accordance with statutory periods.

4. Protection of the contact form against misuse

To protect the contact form, we use an invisible verification field and a temporary access restriction. For this purpose, the IP address is pseudonymised using a secret key. The resulting verification value is held in the web server’s temporary storage for no more than ten minutes.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to prevent automated misuse, spam and overloading of the form.

5. Cookie settings

We use the technically necessary cookie pp_cookie_consentto record whether you have accepted or declined the cookie settings. The cookie contains only the value accepted oder rejectedis stored for 180 days and is not used for analytics or advertising.

The contact form is enabled as soon as you make a selection, regardless of whether you accept or decline. You can change your decision at any time using the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of the page.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our own web server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service is established when the fonts are loaded.

7. External links and social networks

The website contains ordinary links to our profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A connection to the respective provider is established only when you open such a link. From that point onwards, the provider’s privacy policy applies.

8. Recipients and processors

Personal data is disclosed only to those internal departments and contracted service providers that require it for the stated purposes. These include united-domains and IONOS as hosting providers and the providers used to deliver email. Where required, data-processing agreements are in place with service providers.

Data is transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area only where a legal condition is met, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR.

9. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the following rights in particular:

• access to the personal data processed,
• rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
• erasure or restriction of processing,
• data portability,
• objection to processing based on legitimate interests.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The following authority is primarily responsible for our registered office:

11. Encrypted transmission

The website is provided via HTTPS. This encrypts content and information from the contact form during transmission.

12. Updates to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy when the website, the service providers used or legal requirements change. The version published on this page at any given time applies.
